Amy and Simon got in touch and asked if I could create some graffiti-style artwork for the dartboard backing boards they’d made from reclaimed timber. They wanted the design to be a nod to the start of the project, when the building had been abandoned for years and was covered in graffiti tags.
It was a great to let loose with the cans! And I also used some of the metallic paint they’d used in the room to help tie everything together. Rather than neat lettering, I went for a more expressive, textured take on graffiti, building up lots of layers of paint, scratching/scraping into them to give it that aged, weathered feel.
The setting wasn’t bad either… 👌😩
This home has an incredible story. It’s the original mill is recorded in the Domesday Book and is the mill that gave Milford on Sea (In The New Forest) its name. Amy and Simon have spent years of hard work bringing it back to life, doing much of the restoration work themselves, and the finished result is incredible.
You might even spot the property on Extraordinary Extensions on Channel 4 with Tinie Tempah… and if you look closely enough at the blurry image, you’ll see him throwing a few darts at it!
This is one of the immersive rooms at Pumpkin Time 2025 that I helped create, with each room being roughly 10m square by 5m high and fully blacked out. This room was the creepy maize field, where I wanted it to be lit mostly by moonlight. We used real maize as well, which was great! And the moon… that was fun to make! Roughly 2.5m across, it was built with wood, foam, and layers of plaster for texture, plus a LOT of UV paint to make it glow. The thing weighed a ton, but we got it up there! To top it off, we added some windy/crop-rustling sound effects.
The pumpkin scarecrows were a great addition. These things had no heads on while I was walking around working on bits, so they kept catching me off guard and freaking me the hell out. I can only imagine what it must be like being the cleaner at somewhere like Madame Tussauds. 😂

Pumpkin season may still feel a long way off, but there’s plenty happening behind the scenes @sunnyfieldsfarm 🎃

Adding the final touches to this barrel top commission I’ve been working on, whilst playing @charleycrockett latest album on repeat 👌

Strong & Co was a long-established brewery based not far from me in Romsey, which dates back to the 1700s. They were a big name and owned/supplied many local pubs in the surrounding area for generations. The business was sold to Whitbread & Co. Ltd in 1969, and brewing stopped in Romsey in 1981. My mum worked there between 1975/76 as the brewery nurse which was the start of her Occupational Health career that lasted for 40 years!

Earlier in the year I had the pleasure of Signwriting and lining the canopy of ‘Daffodil’, after the boards had been replaced due to damage - She’s a Burrell steam roller built in 1924 and was used for ripping up and re-laying roads in Cornwall.
This roller was also sign written previously by Rodd Hoyle (Mill Signs Romsey) around 30years ago and the owners kindly let me keep the original board.
Thank you to Nigel and Nick for the opportunity!
The rain finally did end and I was able to finish off the signage for @blackstarrecordsuk 🎙️

The witch room at Sunnyfields Farm - One of six themed rooms at Pumpkin Time this year. I really enjoyed painting this one, which was painted using fluorescent spray paint. The sound FX and big pumpkin cauldron bring it all together nicely 👌🧙♀️🎃 It’s difficult to get a decent photo as the UV seems to make the camera freak out.

Here’s the addition to the Glow Trail I painted for Pumpkin Time 2025, I couldn’t quite fit it all into the photo 😬
I had the pleasure of designing a label for Bolton’t Bench Sweet Shop’s chocolate bars, based on early 19th century Hershey’s, Bournville/Cadbury labels.
